Parrett provided a total of over 220 aluminum clad French doors that were designed to complement RH, Restoration Hardware's contemporary, yet classically-inspired design galleries in Denver, Austin and Seattle.
The majority of Parrett’s door systems had heights between 9′ and 12’ not including the transoms above. These doors were manufactured of stain grade vertical grain Douglas fir and were either primed by Parrett or received interior finishing applied at the jobsite depending on the specific installation location. The extruded aluminum clad exteriors featured an AAMA 2605 spec paint to provide optimal durability and longevity by reducing paint color fading and saltwater corrosion. Solarban 60 Low E Starphire (low iron) glass with bronze perimeter spacer was utilized in several of the door systems to enhance the optical quality of the glass. Additionally, some of the units also featured a black spandrel coating to surface #3 of the glass depending on the installed location of the door. Parrett also provided (23) all-wood vertical grain Douglas fir interior swing doors for the Austin location.
Parrett typically provided and installed the specified commercial door hardware for these door systems. Hardware included components such as concealed closers, mortise strike deadbolts and locks, door sweeps, dustproof strikes, rail grips, and lever extension flush bolts. A majority of door hardware such as pulls and levers was sourced by Parrett through Rocky Mountain, a manufacturer of fine hand-casted bronze hardware. Parrett was proud to be able to contribute to the overall design of these new RH locations.
